What is Cyber Security

For you, safety comes first. As a computer scientist with a focus on security, you ensure that the increasingly networked IT systems are protected from attacks.

Cyber ​​Security is the defence of electronic systems, networks and data, but also of computers, servers and mobile devices against malicious attacks. It covers all questions regarding the security of devices and machines connected to the Internet.

Career opportunities

As a student of Cyber Security, you will become a security expert for IT and intelligent devices. Even during your studies, you are able to master typical cyber security challenges using suitable methods.

In addition, as a cyber security specialist, you will be able to deal responsibly with IT security problems and coordinate the solution with all other affected departments in the company (risk management, compliance, legal department, IT, production).

The development of communicative, social and ethical competencies are therefore particularly important and are supported in the program from the beginning.
